Bristol graff on google maps

Street view on Google maps has finally arrived, and Bristol is one the few cities to have gone live yesterday. I've wasted (enjoyed) a couple of hours today touring round the city, and of course looking at the graff from the comfort of my chair. I reckon the google earth car must have trawled our streets about a year ago judging by what is on the walls and in some cases what isn't there anymore. Unfortunately places like Mivart Street and Cato Street with the old work of Banksy and Inkie in Easton weren't filmed.

I haven't spotted any loons pulling some poses or stunts on the streets but hopefully we are blessed with a few.

Likewise, I lost an evening to this. Sadly, whilst it covers Bradford, it currently ends three roads away from where we live. However, I have been able to look through a friend's open window in London and found a work colleague smoking in the "no smoking" area. :-)

Now you can find street art pieces without even leaving your couch, amazing. Couple of draw backs though, firstly the photos date back a few months and secondly, not all the streets and alley ways are included. So it seems that I'm going to have to continue walking the streets of Bristol the old-fashioned way, I guess the fresh air is doing me some good.
